What's In My Make Up Bag

1.  Kate Somerville Daily Deflector Moisturizer

So now that it is getting a bit chilly my skin needs some additional moisturizer.  Right now I am addicted to kate somerville's daily deflector moisturizer.  It has spf and makes your skin feel amazing.  This will be a winter staple for me!






2.  Chanel No 5 Velvet Body Cream

Is a must have for me during the winter!  I love putting it on after a bath and the scent it leaves is amazing.  Given the price I use it sparingly but it moisturizes so well and is such a treat during those cold winter months!






3.  Dior Addict Lip Glow Balm

This might be my fav product ever!  Dior has created a great, moisturizing lip balm that gives you some color as well.  Actually it enhances your natural color so it's the best cross between lipstick and balm.  I use it religiously and you will too!

I'm Jealous Of My Husband

I have to be honest I almost didn't publish this post.  This is a real and raw post.  I finally hit publish because I figured I couldn't be the only one feeling this way. I will tell you I didn't know I was jealous of Matt at first.  I knew I was angry, resentful, overwhelmed and afraid.  As a wife and mother the to do list seems never ending.  Whether you work or not being a mother is one of the hardest jobs, if not the hardest job on the planet.   Matt and I are blessed to both have fulfilling careers and therefore we have someone who helps us 5 days a week.   For a long time I felt bad for being a working mother.  I've made my peace with that.  I am now thankful instead of guilty.  It was a long road but I'm in a good place with it.  I'm not saying that from time to time I don't wrestle with working and being mother but on the whole I am comfortable with my choice.   So when these feelings started c...

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself.
