What's In My Make Up Bag

Happy Thursday this and thatters!  It's almost time for the weekend, get excited :)

1.  Nars Dolce Vita Lipstick

I am always looking for a great lipstick.  One that I can throw in my purse and no matter what I'm wearing or what state of disarray I am in it will look great.  I think I've hit the jackpot with Nars Dolce Vita lipstick.  It is super moisturizing and the perfect pinkish/nude color.  So it gives me color without going overboard!  I love it. 





2.  Proactiv Dark Spot Corrector

Like most ladies out there (or I hope) I don't have perfectly flawless skin.  I have little sun spots and dark spots from God only knows what.  I tried the proactiv dark spot corrector on a whim and I couldn't be more pleased.  It actually does it's job and erases dark marks.....novel concept.  If you are looking to get your skin in shape this is the product for you!


3.  Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder

You all know about my love for make up forever but they may have outdone themselves this time.  This amazing powder can be applied wet or dry which allows you to have as little coverage or as much as you want.  I love that!  It basically takes away your need to have a liquid foundation.  I love a multi-use product that offers great coverage and cuts down on space in my make up bag!

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

Old School Calendar

Soo I have a case of the Mondays and by the way it's Tuesday....booo!  I had a super fun weekend at Steeplechase and honestly wish Steeplechase happened about once every month because it was such a good time.  :) When the hubs and I returned on Sunday from Cville we started talking about all the upcoming events/weddings/trips/business trips etc. we had coming up in the next 5 months and it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest!  I know I have all these things coming up but to be honest they are sneaking up on me.  For example I will be in St. Simons for a work conference next week and I completely forgot.  I leave the day after my birthday (is it just me or do birthdays get let special the older you get?)  So I have been scrambling all day to make my travel arrangements and in general get my sh!t together.
