Happy (day after) Thanksgiving also known as Black Friday!  I hit up some amazing sales all online with the exception of The Gap.  I went there in person by only by accident because my mom and I were going to the spa and it happened to be right next door :) Below are the items I purchased today!  I have been waiting for these items to go on sale so I could snap them up...guilt free!   Enjoy and happy shopping! xoxo 1.  J.Crew Use the code HOLIDAY and then go for it!  I snapped up these two tops and I cannot wait to get them.  The blue will be so much fun to wear with a vest to a low key holiday event. Hello lovelies?! I hope you and yours are doing well and gearing up for turkey day.   Recently, I had to revamp my skincare routine.  My skin was going haywire and I'm not sure if that was because of stress, age or hormones.  Either way I had to do some research and make some changes.  I found a couple of different solutions I can't wait to share! xoxo 1.  Dr. Gross's Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel I found these awesome wipes last time I got a facial.  It was probably the best facial I've ever had.  I was at the Ritz at Lake Oconee so it should have been :) The woman who gave me my facial was awesome and gave me great feedback on what to do and not to do with my skin.  She said if you only buy one product, buy this one, and she was absolutely right.   You use these pads once a day after cleansing your face (normally in the morning) and they are life changing.  They do wonders for wrinkles, pores and blemishes.   Click here! 2.  Rodan & Fie

Happy Weekend Lovers!!  It's been a great week for me and I hope it has been for you.  Thanks for stopping by and checking out what's what.  Enjoy! xoxo 1.  Parenting Books So I know it might be controversial to recommend parenting books.  The only reason I say that is when I asked for recommendations on Facebook people were pretty intense, ha!  I will say that trusting your gut is absolutely the best way to go.  If you want to read up these are my fav! *All of the What To Expect Books (pregnancy, 1st year, 2nd year) Click here! *Happiest Baby on the Block and Happiest Toddler on the Block Click here! *Elevating Child Care:  A Guide to Respectful Parenting Click here! *Moms On Call Click here! 2.  Beanie I wasn't always sure I could pull off a beanie (I'm still not) but it's soo cold already I had to get past my vanity and worry about warmth.  I did a lot of sea

Dear Emily

Hello all my lovely readers!  I hope you and your are staying toasty warm.  I have been loving all this time with my baby girl.  Please enjoy this edition of Dear Emily.  xoxo Dear Emily, Sweet girl you aren't a baby anymore!!  You are walking, talking (in your way), pointing at things and being so much fun.  You won't believe it but you are starting to run!  It doesn't last long because you fall (sadly) but you are running.  You have also learned to hug, which is amazing!!  Nothing warms my heart more than getting a great big hug from my baby girl. You are obsessed with pointing out all the lights and pictures you see!  You want to talk to mommy and daddy about them.  It's so fun to witness your world opening up.  You are discovering all sorts of new things and it's so exciting. Daddy calls you his petite princess because you are still barely fitting into 12 month clothes even though you are 14 months old.  Dressing you is one of mommy's f

Read and enjoy! The Confessional

Happy Tuesday this and thatters!!! I hope you and yours are having a nice kick off to the week.  I hope you enjoy the confessional, as well! xoxo 1.  I've been a bit behind on household chores...who isn't?!  This weekend we had zero plans and I was able to get caught up on soo much.  It made me feel so organized and so less anxious about starting the week. 2.  I'm anal and type A but I always wait until the absolute last minute to Christmas shop.  I really envy those people who are together enough to shop throughout the year.  Not this girl I don't start really shopping until after Thanksgiving...feel free to judge. 3.  Is it just me or are we all decorating for Christmas a lot earlier?!?  I feel like last year I saw everyone decorating before Thanksgiving.  I guess I can see that, it's a lot of work and you want to enjoy it for as long as possible.  I'm on the fence about early decorating but truth be told it makes me feel guilty as hec

Happy Day this and thatters!!  I hope you and yours are doing well today.   I recently had to make a trip to Neimans and buy some make up.  It was one of those big stock up trips because I seemed to run out of everything at once!  Here are some of my favorites that I found. xoxo 1.  YSL Fusion Ink Broad Spectrum Foundation I needed a great foundation!  One that was full of coverage but also oil free as well.  I love this foundation because you can go light or heavy depending on the time of day and the occasion.  I have used it non stop and I am obsessed.   Click here! 2.  YSL Foundation Brush The gal who was helping me was amazing!  She told me from the start she didn't work for any specific counter so she pulled a bunch of different items for me to try.  I really liked that!  I hate when you sit down at one counter and they only push that product no matter if it's what works for you or not.   She completely sold me on the foundation brush because it he
