What's What

Happy Saturday this and thatters!!  I am on a mission this weekend to cross lots of times off my to do list.  What are you up to?  I hope you and yours have a very peaceful weekend!! xoxo 1.  Suja Master Cleanse So I bought this drink on a little whim at whole foods a few weeks ago.  I bought two of them and thought we will see.  I tried them and I really love them!  I probably don't use them the way you should, ha, but I have really enjoyed them.   First I normally only drink half and I drink it at the start of my day when I know I'm going to be able to eat clean.  While I try to eat healthy all the time, let's be serious, ha!  So I pick two days out of the week and I am super healthy.  The great thing is those two days normally carry into the other 5.   If you are looking for a little kick start to weight lose or eating better I highly recommend this cleanse.  Also, you can order these off amazon.com! What's In My Make Up Bag

Happy Day this and thatters!  I haven't done a beauty post in a minute and I've missed it :)  I hope you enjoy this edition of what's in my make up bag. xoxo 1.  To Go Spa's Green Tea Eye Patches I can't take credit for this find I read about it Molly Sims' amazing book.  I was a bit skeptical but took the chance anyway.  The price isn't too bad $12.50 for 3 sets of eye patches.  Molly (like we're friends) suggested putting them in the fridge and then using them!  I have to say she was exactly right.   For over a week Em has been sick and sleep hasn't been happening regularly so I used the patches and boom amazing results.  While I don't use them everyday these are my new go to tired eye fixer!   Click here! 2.  Chanel Eye Shadow in Mystic Eyes I needed to change up my eye shadow game.  You know I love my Naked palette so I haven't felt the need to purchase any new eye shadow in a very long time.  I found this eyeshadow

GiGi New York 50% off I've blogged about my love for GiGi New York before!  They've been having a fabulous winter sale and lucky for you it is still going on.  They have some great items that I really love.  I have to tell you ever since having a kid I opt for tote bags over any other type of bag.  They are just so functional and easy for me to throw everything into.   I snagged the Teddie Tote and cannot wait to get it.  I obviously opted to have it monogrammed because I love a monogram!  Be sure to check out the sale. Click here! 2.  Elizabeth McKay Sale Elizabeth McKay is having a fantastic sale right now where everything is 60% just use the discount code CHEER!  She has the cutest stuff.  I love, love her fun tops and great wrap dresses.  I really like wearing he

The Confessional

How are my favorites today?! I hope your week is flying by and you enjoy this edition of the confessional. xoxo 1.  I have about 60 Golden Girls episodes on my DVR.  The hubs asks about them from time to time but recently has stopped, ha!  I think he knows they are there for life.  I love Golden Girls so much.  It reminds me of growing up!  On Saturday nights Golden Girls and Empty Nest would come on and I would watch both with my mom while we waited on my sister to get home (she was 4 years older I swear I'm not a complete loser).   I have seen every episode about 20 times but I don't care.  There is something about Golden Girls that can make me happy and instantly put me in a better mood! 2.  I hoard certain magazines.  Do you ever read a magazine and almost every article speaks to you?  I keep those magazines sometimes for a very abnormal amount of time.  I didn't exactly realize how bad it was until we moved.  I did some serious sorting but it is starting to

My Favorite Things: The Hippie Edition

Image
Happy Day readers!!  I hope you and yours are enjoying this amazing weather and your week is starting off just right now. We had a fantastic weekend except for the fact that Em came down with a virus. She and I did lots of snuggling on Sunday and Monday and I'm praying she's on the mend.   I had to laugh at some of my purchases this weekend and I even said to the hubs I think I might be turning into a hippie :)  He laughed but had to agree and even kid me a bit.  Ha!   I hope you enjoy my favorite things: the hippie edition! xoxo 1.  Yoga Blanket I went to yoga for the first time in a long time on Saturday.  It was an awesome class that lasted over an hour but I didn't notice.  It was such a great class that was relaxing as well as challenging. While I was there I realized that I needed to invest in a yoga blanket.  I have a yoga mat but never would bite the bullet for a yoga blanket.   We used ours a lot in class and since my weekly treat to myself is going

The Struggle Is Real

Happy Saturday lovely readers!  I hope you and yours are enjoying the sunshine.  Lord I really missed the sun.  :) This week has been a bit busy, nothing unusual, just busy how weeks can be.  I started thinking about New Years resolutions and sticking with them.  I also started thinking about giving myself a bit of a break, ha!  That is a very novel concept for me. I've been trying to do things to take better care of myself (as a new years resolution).  So I've been drinking warm lemon water in the morning, using headspace, working out more and making an effort to eat better.  One day this week when I was struggling to check all of the boxes of resolutions I stopped dead in my tracks.  It hit me (that for me anyway) the reason I don't keep my the resolutions I make each year is because I use these goals I set for myself to beat myself up.   It was a very enlightening moment for me.  Am I the only one who does this?  I have a very vicious cycle of setting goals, beatin

What Emily's Wearing

Image
Hello lovelies!  I hope you are having a fantastic week and getting ready for the weekend.  I am!! I've gotten some requests lately about unique baby gifts, where I buy Emily clothes etc.  I will tell you that baby girl gets most of her clothes from baby gap, old navy with an occasional Nordstrom outfit thrown in.  Right now she is growing so fast it's hard to keep her in anything for too long.  While she is still the petite princess (as the hubs calls her) she is getting taller and that makes shirt buying interesting :) Below are the items I'm loving for her right now.  Enjoy! xoxo 1.  Freshly Picked I love, love these mocs.  They are great for little ones who are crawling, learning to walk or learning to run like Em.  They are soft, can easily be worn with socks and take a licking and keep on ticking.  Durability is very important to me.  I don't mind spending a little bit of money if items are going to last longer.  These are a must have for Ms.

Weekend Round Up

Image
Happy Day readers?!   I hope you are having a fantastic week and enjoy this edition of weekend round up!!  My weekend was pretty low key as I had to have a small procedure done on Friday that required me to rest all weekend.    But sometimes those weekends are the best weekends! I want to thank all of you for your awesome response to my first blog sale!  It went better than I could have expected so thank you readers.  Due to the overwhelming success I will do another one the first or second Sunday in February.  There will be Lilly items as well as some fun J.Crew tops....get excited! xoxo 1.  The Everday Supermodel I have to admit I pre-ordered this book and received it the day it came out!  Thank you amazon.  I follow Molly Sims on insta and I love her (like I know her, haha).  I just feel like she is normal and down to earth.  Her book is fantastic and full of great, down to earth tips!  She also cusses in it which cracks me up.  This is a great read to kick off the New
