My Favorite Things: The Hippie Edition

Happy Day readers!!  I hope you and yours are enjoying this amazing weather and your week is starting off just right now.

We had a fantastic weekend except for the fact that Em came down with a virus. She and I did lots of snuggling on Sunday and Monday and I'm praying she's on the mend.

I had to laugh at some of my purchases this weekend and I even said to the hubs I think I might be turning into a hippie :)  He laughed but had to agree and even kid me a bit.  Ha!

I hope you enjoy my favorite things: the hippie edition!

xoxo

1.  Yoga Blanket

I went to yoga for the first time in a long time on Saturday.  It was an awesome class that lasted over an hour but I didn't notice.  It was such a great class that was relaxing as well as challenging. While I was there I realized that I needed to invest in a yoga blanket.  I have a yoga mat but never would bite the bullet for a yoga blanket.

We used ours a lot in class and since my weekly treat to myself is going to be yoga I decided to invest in one.  I found mine on amazon and it was very reasonably priced.  They come in a ton of amazing colors!!

2.  Essential Oils for Beginners

I scored this book while I was on amazon purchasing my yoga blanket.  I have really started getting into essential oils but to be honest I need more information.  I know the basics like lavender oil is good for sleep etc.

What I needed was a guide to how to get the best use out of the oils I have.  I've been using some amazing oils from Young Living Essential Oils.  I have tried other oils but theirs are my absolute favorite!!  They last longer and give me much better results than other oils I have tried.  I use their amazing baby blend in Emily's bath every night.  I purchased the purification for myself and use it for all sorts of things.

If you are interested in purchasing oils or learning more click on the second link below and my friend can help you decide what is best for you or you can search for her on Facebook, her name is, Christina Powell Maher.  Or feel free to message me (ceholley@gmail.com) and I will get you in touch with her.

3.  Headspace

I'm kinda surprised how committed I have been to using headspace.  I am kind of in love with it and do it everyday.  I normally do it early evening and it really helps center me, relax me and help me push the reset button.  It is so awesome!!

I love that it is on my iPhone and I can use it absolutely anywhere.  It is by far my favorite app right now!  You can use a free trial with headspace or you can purchase it for up to a year it's totally your choice.  I highly encourage you give it a try if you have been thinking about meditation.
