So I know it's getting cold and can even be a little dreary but I am loving all things bright and happy right now!  I've been adding some super cute, bright pieces to my winter wardrobe.  Just because it's winter doesn't mean everything has to be all black and white!  Spice it up a bit with these super cute items.  xoxo
1.  Colorful Hunter Boots

 I love Hunter boots and this mint color is really doing it for me!  I can't wait to pair these boots with leggings, oversized sweaters, button downs and pretty much my entire winter wardrobe!






2.  Lilly Tops

 Lilly is doing some super cute tops for winter.  I love how they are soft, flattering and most of all colorful!  I am really digging this bow tie top.  I can't wait to wear it with winter white pants and some pink sunglasses :)


3.  Winter White Pants

 I love a great fitting pair of white pants!  I think it's such a fun, crisp way to liven up your wardrobe.  Right now I am loving these winter white pants from banana republic for all things winter!!

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

A Sad Season

I have to tell you that these past few months and perhaps this year have been hard and yes sad.  My mother told me when we were talking about it that I was experiencing "a sad season" and I have to agree. Now this doesn't mean that everything has been awful, sad and terrible.  I haven't been in bed for weeks at a time with the covers over my head watching trash tv.  Instead I feel like it has been one of those times were the hits just keep on coming.  The bad news just keeps rolling in like ocean waves.  It has been a time of tremendous loss and sadness.  The events that have occurred aren't the same but it felt like every time I would get my ahead above water something else would happen.   It has been difficult because there are happy times mixed in to all of the sad.  In those times of happiness I have genuinely tried to be in the moment but my heart wasn't in the right place.  My heart has not felt happy and there has been an undercurrent of sadness tha
