I am so excited that it's October but a bit worried about how fast September flew by!  Was that just me?

I am loving me some Madewell lately.  I just think they do things so well and at a great price point!  Someone gave me a gift certificate to Madewell the other day and I couldn't help but snap up this adorable top.  I can't wait to wear this with some black jeans and leopard flats!

With all things political being on every one's mind I stumbled upon this adorable koozies at hay market designs!  No matter who your family and friends are pulling for there is something for everyone.  :) 






3.  Outstanding in the Field

Is an amazing farm to table idea that is holding events across the country!  They are making a stop outside of Atlanta and I can't wait to experience it.

Joe Truex, chef at Watershed in Atlanta, has become one of our favorites. We’ve now spent enough time with Joe to get to know him really well. One thing we know for sure is that he will create a farm dinner feast that’s right up there with the very best of the year. Our table will be set at beautiful Riverview Farms where beef, pork and vegetables are in the field and on the menu. Watershed Restaurant is now on hiatus until the spring as they make a move to a new location. The restaurant is owned by musical artist Emily Salliers of the super talented Indigo Girls. Emily makes music and makes friends. We look forward to seeing her.

I'm Jealous Of My Husband

I have to be honest I almost didn't publish this post.  This is a real and raw post.  I finally hit publish because I figured I couldn't be the only one feeling this way. I will tell you I didn't know I was jealous of Matt at first.  I knew I was angry, resentful, overwhelmed and afraid.  As a wife and mother the to do list seems never ending.  Whether you work or not being a mother is one of the hardest jobs, if not the hardest job on the planet.   Matt and I are blessed to both have fulfilling careers and therefore we have someone who helps us 5 days a week.   For a long time I felt bad for being a working mother.  I've made my peace with that.  I am now thankful instead of guilty.  It was a long road but I'm in a good place with it.  I'm not saying that from time to time I don't wrestle with working and being mother but on the whole I am comfortable with my choice.   So when these feelings started creeping up I thought it was working mother's gu

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get
