It's Fall Y'all

I am soo excited it finally feels like fall in the ATL.  Aren't you?

I did a little shopping this weekend and loved all the sales that were going on.  So here is my very special edition of fall must have items (that are all on sale), get excited!

1.  Banana Republic Boots

I have to confess that my current leather black boots have seen there better day.  I bought them on a girls trip to NYC about 6 years ago and it was time to upgrade.  I found these amazing boots at BR and they were on sale!  I can't wait to wear them with a great sweater dress or with a cute top and jeans. 





2.  J.Crew Skirt

Sometimes I have a hard time finding cute skirts.  I don't know if I am built weird or what but they never seem to fit me just right.  I was super excited to find this adorable skirt and J.Crew this weekend.  It was on sale with an additional 25% off and it comes in the cutest colors!  I snapped up the red, purple and black.  They will be my fall and winter work staples!





3.  Ann Taylor Blouse

I grabbed the most adorable top from Ann Taylor this weekend!  It was 40% off and I know I will wear it to work and on the weekends throughout the fall and into winter.  It's super comfy and I love that it is just a little sassy.

I'm Jealous Of My Husband

I have to be honest I almost didn't publish this post.  This is a real and raw post.  I finally hit publish because I figured I couldn't be the only one feeling this way. I will tell you I didn't know I was jealous of Matt at first.  I knew I was angry, resentful, overwhelmed and afraid.  As a wife and mother the to do list seems never ending.  Whether you work or not being a mother is one of the hardest jobs, if not the hardest job on the planet.   Matt and I are blessed to both have fulfilling careers and therefore we have someone who helps us 5 days a week.   For a long time I felt bad for being a working mother.  I've made my peace with that.  I am now thankful instead of guilty.  It was a long road but I'm in a good place with it.  I'm not saying that from time to time I don't wrestle with working and being mother but on the whole I am comfortable with my choice.   So when these feelings started creeping up I thought it was working mother's gu

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get
