How are my peeps today?  I can't believe it is only Wednesday it should be Thursday at least, right?! 

Anyway in an effort to speed up my less than exciting week I decided to put together a little what's what of fun, exciting things (to me anyway) that are happening.

1.  Trina Turk at Banana Republic

This might be the most exciting news of the week...Trina at Banana!  My BFF forwarded me the email that Trina is coming to Banana Republic and I was beyond thrilled.  For all you Atlanta gals you can head to the Lenox Store on Thursday at 5 p.m. to help celebrate the launch, I will be there with bells on. 

If you aren't in the ATL no worries the 60-piece Banana Republic Trina Turk collection, launches in 450 stores worldwide Thursday.  You will not be disappointed as the collection includes patio dresses, tunic tops and bikinis in her signature "Pisces" and crazy botanical prints. Pieces are priced from $34.50 to $150 — roughly half as much as her namesake line.

2.  Big Ang

Ok bear with me but I freakin love Big Ang ala Mob Wives fame.  Apparently I'm not the only one because Big Ang has landed her own reality show!  I cannot tell you how excited I am to see it.  It comes out this summer on VH1 and I cannot wait!

She cracks me up with her larger than life personality (and lips), her cute little dog and her over the top fashion.  I will be a Big Ang devotee for sure!





3.  21st Annual Southern Revival Festival

This is for all my ATL peeps who are interested in a great time on Saturday!  From 4-10 at Five Paces Inn the 21st Annual Southern Revival Festival will be taking place.  It is a self described afternoon of fun and fellowship celebrating the music and influence of the Allman Brothers Band and I am beyond excited to go.  Be there are be square!

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

A Sad Season

I have to tell you that these past few months and perhaps this year have been hard and yes sad.  My mother told me when we were talking about it that I was experiencing "a sad season" and I have to agree. Now this doesn't mean that everything has been awful, sad and terrible.  I haven't been in bed for weeks at a time with the covers over my head watching trash tv.  Instead I feel like it has been one of those times were the hits just keep on coming.  The bad news just keeps rolling in like ocean waves.  It has been a time of tremendous loss and sadness.  The events that have occurred aren't the same but it felt like every time I would get my ahead above water something else would happen.   It has been difficult because there are happy times mixed in to all of the sad.  In those times of happiness I have genuinely tried to be in the moment but my heart wasn't in the right place.  My heart has not felt happy and there has been an undercurrent of sadness tha
