What's What

This is a very special Thursday for lots of reasons.  No matter how you feel about the health care law today is historical.  So in between watching CNN or Fox News please enjoy What's What!

1.  Lot 18

If you know me you know I LOVE wine.  Therefore I absolutely adore the website Lot 18.  It is a great site that gives you access to unique wines.  I love their reviewers and also the history they provide behind each wine.  Sadly some of the wines don't ship to GA but for the most part this Georgia girl gets her fix.

2.  Cape Cod Rosemary and Feta Chips

I discovered these last week when I was on vacation at staying at my Nana's.  These are really the best chips you have ever tasted (and I eat a lot of chips).  They are so tasty you can put them out as an appetizer or sit down and eat the whole bag (not that I did that). 







3.  Hollywood Heights

Hollywood Heights is a fab show that comes on Nick at Nite (yes I watch nick at nite) and I bet you aren't watching it!  It is a great, soapy drama about you guessed it Hollywood and a young girl making it big and the drama that unfolds for her and her family.  James Franco is guest starring this week so you better not miss it!  The show airs Friday nights at 9 p.m. for all you cool kids who go out DVR it :)

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

A Sad Season

I have to tell you that these past few months and perhaps this year have been hard and yes sad.  My mother told me when we were talking about it that I was experiencing "a sad season" and I have to agree. Now this doesn't mean that everything has been awful, sad and terrible.  I haven't been in bed for weeks at a time with the covers over my head watching trash tv.  Instead I feel like it has been one of those times were the hits just keep on coming.  The bad news just keeps rolling in like ocean waves.  It has been a time of tremendous loss and sadness.  The events that have occurred aren't the same but it felt like every time I would get my ahead above water something else would happen.   It has been difficult because there are happy times mixed in to all of the sad.  In those times of happiness I have genuinely tried to be in the moment but my heart wasn't in the right place.  My heart has not felt happy and there has been an undercurrent of sadness tha
