Spring Fling: The Make Up Edition

Spring time makes me wanna shop not just for clothes but for make up as well!!  I want bright, fresh new colors in my make up bag and fun new eyeshadows to play with as well. 

I did some make up bag shopping this week and found some amazingly fun items for spring!

1.  MAC Viva La Glam VI Lip Gloss

Omg this lip gloss is my new favorite find!  It is the picture shade of pink and stays on...novel concept.  This is my new go to lip gloss for spring!







2.  Eye Rock

Is this amazing product that I found through birch box!  It is instant eyeliner that comes to you in packs of four that you can trim down (if needed) and apply to your eye and bam you get an instant cat eye (for example)!  I was a little weary of these but they work great when you are wearing them.





3.  MAC Satin Taupe Eye Shadow

Is so great!  It is the perfect grey, purple kinda color that is hard to explain but looks beautiful on.  It goes great with black or brown eyeliner and looks great no matter what eye shadow you are wearing.  This is my new favorite shadow!


4.  Too Faced California In A Compact- Beach Bunny

I love, love the Too Faced line of products!  Check them out at Sephora if you have never used them.  I really love their compact that is blush, bronzer and all over color in one!  I use this all the time and even if I dont have time for make up a splash a little bit on my checks, forehead and nose for color.  It is the best!



5.  B.B. Creams

So b.b. creams are all the rage right now!  B.B. means blemish balm or beauty balm and it is basically about getting the most you can out of your make up.  No longer will it just be coverage it should have SFP and anti-aging benefits etc.  My favorite b.b. balm is Boscia's for his high SPF (27) and it's amazing skin benefits!

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

Old School Calendar

Soo I have a case of the Mondays and by the way it's Tuesday....booo!  I had a super fun weekend at Steeplechase and honestly wish Steeplechase happened about once every month because it was such a good time.  :) When the hubs and I returned on Sunday from Cville we started talking about all the upcoming events/weddings/trips/business trips etc. we had coming up in the next 5 months and it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest!  I know I have all these things coming up but to be honest they are sneaking up on me.  For example I will be in St. Simons for a work conference next week and I completely forgot.  I leave the day after my birthday (is it just me or do birthdays get let special the older you get?)  So I have been scrambling all day to make my travel arrangements and in general get my sh!t together.
