The Best Blogs You Aren't Reading....But Really Should Be!

So for my third edition of the best blogs you aren't reading I decided to give you a random selection from my favorite, not yet famous bloggers.  I love these blogs because they are honest, helpful, funny and practical. 

That's what I look for when I'm reading blogs.  I don't want to hear how your life is perfect and you have no problems/issues/embarrassing moments because that isn't real.  Nope I want the truth, the whole truth. and I want REAL!! 

These three blogs are different but each offer a great, helpful, unique take on life, style and food.  I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do :)

1.  ToePick SF

Is written by a hilarious blogger who basically gives you a new and unique angle on being single and in the city (San Fransisco not New York).  She has some crazy adventures and celeb sightings and is a great writer.  Enjoy!

2.  Baylor Says

Has quickly become my favorite blog to read everyday.  The blogger takes on the topic of decorating, one that still makes me nervous, but she is giving me the confidence I need to take on some at home projects.  What I love is that she takes the latest ideas/trends and shows you how to make them work for you.  I also love her humor and the cute quotes/updates from her son at the end of each blog.  You will love the beautiful images and awesome ideas.

3.  Shugart and Spice

Is a great blog I love about cooking!  The recipes are easy and delicious which is crucial in my household.   I have cooked a ton of her dishes and they are always a huge hit with the hubs!  If you are new to cooking, super busy or need some easy go to recipes this is your blog.

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

A Sad Season

I have to tell you that these past few months and perhaps this year have been hard and yes sad.  My mother told me when we were talking about it that I was experiencing "a sad season" and I have to agree. Now this doesn't mean that everything has been awful, sad and terrible.  I haven't been in bed for weeks at a time with the covers over my head watching trash tv.  Instead I feel like it has been one of those times were the hits just keep on coming.  The bad news just keeps rolling in like ocean waves.  It has been a time of tremendous loss and sadness.  The events that have occurred aren't the same but it felt like every time I would get my ahead above water something else would happen.   It has been difficult because there are happy times mixed in to all of the sad.  In those times of happiness I have genuinely tried to be in the moment but my heart wasn't in the right place.  My heart has not felt happy and there has been an undercurrent of sadness tha
