Fabulous Finds

So I thought I would kick off this lovely week with some of my favorite internet finds!  To be honest I know this is going to be a bit of a crazy work week and I needed something to cheer myself up.  The items below definitely did the trick! 

I not only love finding cute, unique items on the internet it is also a bonus when the items they feature are reasonably priced.  I just love finding a site or an item that I'm sure no one else has (which of course isn't true but always makes me feel good) and I love knowing that I won't "see" myself aka no one else will have it. 

1.  Smadar Leather Designs is my favorite find!  It is a beautiful line of purses, clutches and wallets featured on Etsy.  I love all her designs but the one below is my personal fav!

2.  Devon Baer Designs is great line of clothing by a designer who use to do interiors but has taken her love for all things beautiful to clothing. I really love her aesthetic and the her take on clothes.  She has a site on etsy and I love all of her beautiful tops...especially the one below!

3.  Pear Tree Greetings is an amazing invitation/stationary site I stumbled upon when trying to order unique Christmas cards this year (which is always my struggle).  I love how creative and one of a kind all of their cards are and that they are cheaper than tiny prints! 

Right now they have the cutest Valentine's Day Cards I have ever seen.  I threatened to send the card below out with mine and my hubs face on it to which he responded HELL NO :)

4.  My love for jewelry runs deep and true.  I love, love costume jewelry and one of a kind pieces.  I found Spring Street Designs back in the summer and have been obsessed ever since!  They have amazing, unique jewelry at a great price.  I love all their cocktail rings!

5.  I heard about Mod Cloth when I was on vacation.  Actually I was on the ski lift in Colorado and overheard some girls talking about the site.  I immediately looked it up and have been a devotee ever since.  They feature vintage looking items on their site and have great party dresses.  I am in love with all their cute capes and jackets!

6.  Shoe Clips is a find that came to me through one of my readers.  She emailed me about them and they are adorable.  I love the idea of changing up your standard black pumps or  any flats with mink shoe clips or any number of the amazing clips they sell.  Check them out and let me know what you think!

At Home Facial Favs

Happy Monday!  I hope you and yours had a great weekend.   On Sunday I gave myself an at home facial and documented some of it on my instastories and got 100 questions, ha!  So I figured I would share what I used here.   The first question I got was the frequency in which I do at home facials and I don't do them as much as I want to or probably should.  I aim for once a week but it's probably every other week.  I love going to a spa and getting a kick ass facial but there isn't always time and sometimes they can be pricey so I've developed an at home routine for myself. I will say as I get older my skin is changing so I'm having to investigate new and different products.  My skin is sensitive, prone to breakouts and can be super dry and super oily so it's a constant juggle for me to find products that actually work for me.  Recently I've been using a ton of philosophy products and I have loved every, single one of them so far!  I also love that you get

A Sad Season

I have to tell you that these past few months and perhaps this year have been hard and yes sad.  My mother told me when we were talking about it that I was experiencing "a sad season" and I have to agree. Now this doesn't mean that everything has been awful, sad and terrible.  I haven't been in bed for weeks at a time with the covers over my head watching trash tv.  Instead I feel like it has been one of those times were the hits just keep on coming.  The bad news just keeps rolling in like ocean waves.  It has been a time of tremendous loss and sadness.  The events that have occurred aren't the same but it felt like every time I would get my ahead above water something else would happen.   It has been difficult because there are happy times mixed in to all of the sad.  In those times of happiness I have genuinely tried to be in the moment but my heart wasn't in the right place.  My heart has not felt happy and there has been an undercurrent of sadness tha
